    Android Auto takes the features you love about your Android-powered smartphone and puts them directly in your car’s dashboard. Nifty, huh? It displays information on a familiar, easy-to-use interface with cards you can swipe out of the way, legible menus, and large icons.
    One of the best parts of Android Auto is the Google Maps-powered navigation system, which provides step-by-step directions and automatically finds an alternate route if it detects heavy traffic. It also ports over saved destinations from your phone, so you don’t have to manually type in the address for “Home,” “Work,” or your favourite watering hole. The software also gives motorists on-demand access to millions of songs and podcasts, lets them surf the web, and allows them to stay connected via phone calls and messages.

    Which Android smart phones are compatible with Android Auto?
    Android Auto is compatible with all Android phones above Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and higher. You must download the Android Auto App onto your phone to enable your phone to work with our kit.
    What apps and features does Android Auto run?
    All of the aforementioned features respond to basic voice commands, too. You can say “OK, Google, play The Offspring,” or “OK, Google, what’s the capital of Australia?” Heck, you can even ask, “OK, Google, what is Android Auto?” With voice commands, you can reply to messages using speech-to-text technology. Don’t worry if your car isn’t equipped with voice-recognition technology, though, as Android Auto’s features are accessible using the touchscreen in your car. Just keep in mind that your smartphone’s screen will be locked when Android Auto is active, though you can swipe to unlock it when it’s safe to do so.
    Android Auto also works with a host of third-party apps, including Waze, Pandora, iHeart Radio, Skype, WhatsApp, and Spotify. However, vehicle settings aren’t part of Android Auto, so the driver has to exit the application to adjust climate controls, browse radio stations, or select a different driving mode.
    So, how does this all work?
    Our product here is a USB interface adaptor. You can plug this directly into the USB slot on the rear our exclusive PbA Android GPS head unit (or with the OTG USB extension cable) and then you will need an Official USB cable (1m or shorter recommended - Not Supplied). This then gets plugged into our USB interface adaptor. We will also provide you with the Android Phone Link APK App to install onto your PbA head unit. You then install the App and then enter into it. There you will see your Android Auto interface.

    USER INTERFACE
    Your home screen here is easily laid out and also shows your all the information linked to your phone, such as the signal strength, battery and data connection. In the top right hand corner you will notice the Microphone button. Just like your phone, one press lets you talk to "OK Google"
    Use Google Maps to navigate your way around. Google will provide instructions for you. Here you have an online world map available. Just like the App on your phone, it's all displayed here on your head units screen.
    You will have your full phone book here and you can even ask Siri to call the person you want too. All arranged exactly like it is on your phone.
    You can make calls here too. The units Bluetooth will take over at this point but the call display will remain with Android Auto
    Your Google Play Music can be played directly and also, the menu will display everything just as it is on your phone. Making it already, very familiar.
    The info page will combine various information such as traffic, music, navigation, messages etc so you can quickly glance to what is happening.
    Music, GPS Navigation all working in combination, all controlled by the data on your phone. Android Auto is an all in one kit.
    If you've got certain 3rd Party Apps on your phone, they may appear on here too.
    Waze is another 3rd party App that can be displayed on the Android Auto menu. A very popular App for traffic information.
    Amazon Music, Deezer, Google Play Music and Spotify are all supported 3rd party Apps on the Car Play menu. You can shuffle and view all your playlists directly on the unit.

    Important Delivery Information

    All returns must be assigned a RMA number. If an item is returned after this period, your returns will be closed and the item needs to be collected back to our address at your cost.
    UNWANTED / NOT REQUIRED PRODUCTS
    An unwanted product can be returned within 30 days of delivery as long as it's still in original, unopened packaging.
    Returns and exchanges can only be processed with proof of purchase. This can be the sales receipt, a bank statement or an online sales invoice.
    You cannot return unwanted items after 30 days of purchase, nor can you return items that have been used.
    In accordance with your rights when you purchase goods online, unwanted products can be returned open so long as you let us know you want to return them within 30 calendar days from the day after delivery. They must include all original packaging, be in ‘as new’ condition and must not have been used, installed or had any data input on them.
    FAULTY PRODUCTS
    It’s bad enough that your product develops a fault, so we try to make our returns or repair service as painless as possible.
    You always have the option of an exchange or refund if the fault occurs within 30 days of delivery. If the fault with your product occurs within its guarantee period (normally 12 months from delivery) we will offer you a prompt repair service. In all cases we reserve the right to inspect the product and verify the fault.
    We do not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear.

    DAMAGED PRODUCTS
    If you unpack your product and find it damaged, please let us know as soon as possible and please validate the claim of damage by supplying a picture of both the damaged contents and the parcel box it arrived in. We will assess the claim and resolve promptly.
    Our Returns Policy As Follows
    Standard 30 day return policy: if you do not like / are not satisfied with an item within 30 days of receiving it, you can return the item for a refund or an exchange providing it is in a perfect and resalable condition. You are liable for all return carriage costs in relation to returns / cancellations. The product must be returned in the condition it was received. We reserve the right to refuse returned items or deduct a 15% restocking fee if they have evidence of installation, user abuse or are not in a resalable condition when returned.
    Manufacturer's warranty: Beyond this 30 day period, you are covered under the manufacturer's warranty which is a minimum of 1 year. If your product becomes faulty during this period, you should contact our eSupport 'Help Desk', via the eBay contact system. We will then arrange for your item to be repaired or replaced with a new product or provide details of the manufacturers local service centre.
    Returns will be refused if labels are stuck directly onto the product box.
    If any parts are missing from the product then we will only be able to offer a part refund / part exchange to cover the cost of replacing the missing parts.
    We do not cover return postage unless specifically agreed by our team prior to return.
    We are not responsible for installation costs under any circumstance.
    Any items are returned at your own risk. We strongly advise you to take care when returning items to us; for example, by ensuring the goods are correctly addressed & adequately packaged. Items that arrive back damaged or destroyed as a result of poor packaging will not be accepted. These items will be resent to the customer at the customer's expense.
    If you have received a faulty or incorrect item: You must notify us within 10 days of receipt, we will then arrange to replace or repair the unit. This guarantee does not cover effects arising from accidental damage or misuse of the items, and is automatically lost if the item is opened by non-qualified or unauthorised people. Please note that minor issues may be resolved by supplying replacement parts or alternative solutions acceptable to both parties.
    If Goods become faulty during the period of the Warranty for reasons unconnected with your acts, omissions or misuse of the Goods, you must notify us in writing and/or by completing a warranty claim form (including a description of the fault) and return such Goods to us. Such Goods shall be returned to the manufacturer for review and testing.
    Based on the manufacturers' opinion, we will repair, (or at our sole option) replace such Goods with the same or superior Goods, without charge or not provide any of the aforementioned. The manufacturer's opinion shall be final and binding and we shall have no further liability to you. If Goods become faulty after expiry of the Warranty, and you request that we replace or repair such Goods, then we shall charge our then standard list price for such repair or replacement.
    Your sole remedy in respect of a failure of the Goods to comply with the Warranty is as set out in the Warranty Conditions.
    We will be afforded reasonable opportunity and facilities to investigate any claims made under the Warranty and you will if so requested in writing by us promptly return any Goods the subject of any claim and any packing materials securely packed and carriage paid to us for examination.
    We will have no liability with regard to any claim in respect of which you have not complied with the claims procedures in the Warranty Conditions.
    The above warranty is given by us subject to us having no liability in respect of any defect arising from wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, tampering of the Goods, incorrect fitting of the Goods by you and/or a third party, abnormal working conditions, failure to follow our and/or the Goods' manufacturers' instructions (whether oral or in writing), misuse or alteration or repair of the Goods without our approval.
    Audio Tech Direct will not arrange collection or pay postage costs for the product. All items for the warranty procedure must be sent back by the customer.
    At Audio Tech Direct we hope that you are happy with your purchases, however we know that sometimes you will need to return or cancel an item. Before returning any goods please read our Terms and Conditions. Any products returned must be in a re-saleable condition & include the original packing and documentation.
    We are happy to offer a 30 day returns policy for customers on eBay. Please return your item(s) in original packaging and ensure that all packages are securely wrapped. You must include a copy of your delivery note in with your item(s), as this is the proof of purchase. Failure to do so will delay your refund.
