The vital statistics: one 1890 German East Africa 1 rupie, KM# 2, silver (0.9170), 11.6638 g (0.4114 oz.) weight, actual silver weight 0.3439 troy oz., 30.5 mm (1.2 in.) diameter.
This coin is in brilliant AU condition. Fine details of the coin's designs are clear and sharp.  All letters and numerals are crisply legible.  There is just the slightest wear on the coin's highest surfaces.  There is also fine scratching in the coin's obverse field as well as some abrasions on the cheek of the obverse bust.  The two pairs of images were taken in the same location and under the same lighting.  Only the background changed.
